In my own experience, real change came when I adopted functional fitness three years ago and started addressing my diet by cutting out processed food and eating more whole foods (with an emphasis on plant-based), organic foods. Everyone is different, though, and I recognize that.
I think the other key is to be able to find something that you can live with for the long haul. It’s about habits that are beneficial to your body that you can maintain for life.
